power vision OR RATHER vision power!

An excerpt from George Barna's, 'The Power of Vision'

"All men dream; but not equally.
Those who dream by night
in the dusty recesses of their minds,
awake to find that it was vanity;

But the dreamers of the day are
dangerous men, that they may act their
dreams with open eyes to make it
possible."

Vision is seeing beyond what has already been accomplished in the past to what God desires for the future. As a leader, God's desire has to become my desire. Vision is seeing beyond the limitations and frustrations of the present and seeing what is possible with God. Vision is to have a clear God-given sense of direction and purpose, coupled with a commitment to complete the journey.

Vision is Spirit-initiated, not people motivated. Because it is implanted by God, God also imparts the faith to believe it can happen, and the power to see it through. Vision is to have the certainty that this is what God wants done. True vision, born of God, grips a person like a vice and will not let go until the job is done.

The purpose of vision is to create the future. The future is not something that just happens. It is a reality that is created by those strong enough to exert control over their environment. The future belongs to God and through Him to those who are driven to shape it. It is the power of God working through people led by visionaries that cause that image of the future to become reality.

Be Followers Of Christ

Praise the Lord YUWA

1 corinthians 11 : 19 -
For there must also be factions among you, in order that those who are approved may have become evident among you.

Here Apostle Paul addresses to the Church of Corinth about the things he needs the Church to understand. Here in this verse Paul says that in this world there are some people who hold up or teach of ( especially religious) or have an opinion which differs from the official opinion. These people belong to the murmurring group, who dissents and disagrees from the the larger group.
They are present in the group to bring differences among people inorder to judge and divide. So Paul clearly mentions that with these intentions in heart it is better we don`t be part of the Holy Supper.

Our God is a Forgiving and Merciful God, He loves us . Once we confess our sins before Him, He forgives us, all we need to do is to live in with OBEDIENCE to Him. We are no one to judge anyone, it is Our God who is Perfect in ALL IN ALL. So better we reconcile ourselves and come before in His Holy presence with an open and submissive heart . Once God forgives our sins, do remember not to walk in those dirty part of life again. He wants us to Imitate Him rather than imitating some other people of this world. For all Glory belongs to Our God alone. So better kneel before Our Good God in prayer and seek his presence rather than His presents.
Our God knows our inside out and He alone can fix our problems and find the best solutions . Believe and you shall see the GLORY OF GOD in your life.

God Bless Us All.

Amen

THE RIGHTEOUS ARE BOLD LIKE A LION

Praise the Lord
Well today i would like to copy paste a funny story which i read it somewhere and would like you also to read it...This story is about boldness ....... here it goes.....

An elderly lady was well-known for her faith and for her boldness in talking about it. She would stand on her front porch and shout, “Praise the Lord!” Next door to her lived an atheist who would get so angry at her proclamations he would shout, “There ain’t no Lord!!”

Hard times set in on the elderly lady and she prayed for God to send her some assistance. She stood on her porch and shouted, “Praise the Lord!! God, I need FOOD!! I am having a hard time. Please, Lord, send me some groceries!!”

The next morning, the lady went out on her porch and saw a large bag of groceries and shouted, “Praise the Lord!!” The neighbor jumped from behind a bush and said, “Ha Ha!! I told you there was no Lord. I bought those groceries. God didn’t.”

The lady started jumping up and down and clapping her hands and saying, “PRAISE THE LORD!!! He not only sent me groceries, but He made the devil pay for them!!”

God`s Will

"Praise the Lord My Young Friends"

It is very simple, or i should say its very easy to give lectures to others about being happy, but before i write one more word ahead let me make it very clear that i am also going to do the same here...yes .... but, it wasnt easy for me to write this all.It gives a great joy in my heart to write this article when i, myself am walking in the rough road of life to seek happiness. There`s a old proverb which just flashed into my mind right now, as i said earlier easy to say but difficult to act upon. here it goes ;
Happiness is not found at the end of the road,
its enjoyed along the way, in which we travel.

I have been always running after happiness and very few people know about me that i am a very ambitious person and would badly strive for success, but some or the other way i would reach very near to achieve it but would not be able to completely satisfy myself, because my expectations would be different to what i receive. I have been shattered many times, but after my every loss there was an unexpected wrapped gift kept for me and that gift would make me more strong and make me try again and again...... well this cycle goes on and on. Let me tell you something about me, i am working as a staff nurse since march 2008 and ever since i have completed my nursing studies like any other nurse, i also dreamt to migrate and work in abroad
where i could earn some big money and could help my family financially and would like to buy a big house to live with high standard of living. Then in few years i thought why go abroad when i can achieve everything here only, if i get a well settled Govt. job here itself, since then i have been trying for a good settled Govt. job here in Delhi but ....... not everything in life is ready to eat 2 minute noodles....

well, sometimes even if we give our best we end up scoring more in the failure list. Then after this continous failure we reach a phase when we come along and meet some people who are much more established than we are and which inturn makes us more weaker... and then there are other people who criticize us more for not reaching anwhere... and then we come to a stage where we loose our hope.. Let me quote an illustration cum fact from one of the posters in our Hospital where i work now, it says :-
Man can live 40 days without food
about 3 days without water,
about 8 minutes without air,
but only for 1 second without hope.

Hard to digest but true... After a lot of failure, i realised that we may plan a lot of things in our life, but God only directs it to success. Well here, i am not saying that we should not dream or plan our future but let me make myself very clear here by Quoting a real example from the Life of Our Lord Jesus Christ, which i did hear in today`s Sunday Sermon :
Our Lord Jesus, when in the night he was going to be betrayed, in His fervent Prayer to Father God kneels down and Prays, Saying ; "Father, if it is your will, take this cup away from me; nevertheless not my will, but Yours, be done." ( Luke- 22: 42)
Here in this verse Lord Jesus is Praying to take away the suffering which is to come before Him but knowing the fact that Jesus had to go under this suffering, Lord Jesus prays not My will but Your will be done. Lord Jesus had kept His own wish before the Father but acknowedged and Surrendered Himself as a Son to the Father`s will, over His Will.

That is exactly what Father God and even Our Lord Jesus wants from us to do today. To say that Jesus I want to be like you is easy but following the example that Our Jesus showed is not quite easy as it is said. To leave our ambitions, goals, priorities, burdens, motives, aims .... and letting them down and wanting to do what God wants us do is something very Great.
Today when i write this article i want myself and all those who have met Lord Jesus in their life`s to know that Praising and worshiping God is always good but fulfilling His purpose is the real job we have to do and for doing this we have been sent here on this EARTH...
Recognize your talent and Glorify the name of Our Father in Heaven. For in Mathew 11: 29,30 Our Lord Jesus Says, to take the Yoke of God for Lord teaches us how to do that for His Yoke is easy and His burden is Light..

God Bless Us All ...And may He use us All in the years to come, to be His Best Vessel...

Amen.

s.t.a.r.t.l.e.d

Startled...I think it has to be the key word today..when I woke to the thunderous bass of my Father's, I was so annoyingly startled. It was like a sudden and vigorous kickstart to the system, that the whole 'what's happening??' mechanism of my body, reeling under that explosive stimulant, was at a loss to explain as to what's really happening. With eyes twinkling faster than a camera's shutter, it dawned on me that I've been caught unawares. I neglected my chores and was busy building my Kingdom of Dreams.

.... If King Jesus descends on our turf with an entourage fit for the King of Kings, I think a good number of us would be dumbly STARTLED. Taking our dumbness to Himalayan levels we'll think two things...."So, all this was really true, huh!!" ..and when we realise that there was no escaping this reality, the second thought would be "Did it have to be so soon? I was still in my City of Dreams planning to WAKE UP!!"

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them to the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."
-Paul's first epistle to the Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV)

************

A Sunday morning beamer.....
..... when God calls us up....before his everlasting throne, he would ask us two things (he has all the possible reasons to!!)---
1. What did you do with my son Jesus?
2. What did you do with all the resources (talents, money, comforts etc.) that I gave you?
Be careful when you answer..it may affect your eternity!!

***********

Today was a day of challenges...when you put down the impossibilities in numeric terms...the numbers may initially be startling..but the greater the distance, the sweeter would be the rest and the reminisces, not to mention the victory of going the distance.

"I said, "I have worked, but how hopeless it is! I have used up my strength but have accomplished nothing." Yet I can trust the Lord to defend my cause; he will reward me for what I do."
-The Book of Isaiah 49:4 (GNB)

The second post after the first post....and I'm loving it. When there's a blank screen in front of you and an equally blank blog before you, you are forced to dig deep and you would be startled by what lies beneath. Seriously...

Lifesong

In an utterly contemplative disposition of my mind..

Casting Crowns playing at the background is striking a chord somewhere "Let my lifesong sing to you!" Only if it had been as easy as singing a song.

A mixed day. Nothing much to look forward to. I see a few weeks of similar monotony....A nice chat, a boisterous sister, exuberant guests made the bulk of the the day. Two weeks of hard labour-my beard is under threat of annihilation!!! No point in resisting ...would have to GIVE IN...:)

Blog seems to be deserted...the last entry was on October 6. Thought of writing my mind. The problem of sharing LIFE is that it needs a message. Do not strain...you have heard it before...had Gandhi been alive...he would have been an avid blogger. Nothing like a public notebook to make your "My life is my Message" ideals known to the world. It's quite a deal to have a life worth emulating...
A second dilemma is the loss of that comfort of oblivion that one so zealously guards. Nobody knows, nobody hears, nobody sees and you feel your life is your own and private. But then, anything for Christ....

So I think I'll be here often to share and explore my mundane. I hope many in the course would sing that lifesong with me. If only......
