THE RIGHTEOUS ARE BOLD LIKE A LION

Praise the Lord
Well today i would like to copy paste a funny story which i read it somewhere and would like you also to read it...This story is about boldness ....... here it goes.....

An elderly lady was well-known for her faith and for her boldness in talking about it. She would stand on her front porch and shout, “Praise the Lord!” Next door to her lived an atheist who would get so angry at her proclamations he would shout, “There ain’t no Lord!!”

Hard times set in on the elderly lady and she prayed for God to send her some assistance. She stood on her porch and shouted, “Praise the Lord!! God, I need FOOD!! I am having a hard time. Please, Lord, send me some groceries!!”

The next morning, the lady went out on her porch and saw a large bag of groceries and shouted, “Praise the Lord!!” The neighbor jumped from behind a bush and said, “Ha Ha!! I told you there was no Lord. I bought those groceries. God didn’t.”

The lady started jumping up and down and clapping her hands and saying, “PRAISE THE LORD!!! He not only sent me groceries, but He made the devil pay for them!!”

God`s Will

"Praise the Lord My Young Friends"

It is very simple, or i should say its very easy to give lectures to others about being happy, but before i write one more word ahead let me make it very clear that i am also going to do the same here...yes .... but, it wasnt easy for me to write this all.It gives a great joy in my heart to write this article when i, myself am walking in the rough road of life to seek happiness. There`s a old proverb which just flashed into my mind right now, as i said earlier easy to say but difficult to act upon. here it goes ;
Happiness is not found at the end of the road,
its enjoyed along the way, in which we travel.

I have been always running after happiness and very few people know about me that i am a very ambitious person and would badly strive for success, but some or the other way i would reach very near to achieve it but would not be able to completely satisfy myself, because my expectations would be different to what i receive. I have been shattered many times, but after my every loss there was an unexpected wrapped gift kept for me and that gift would make me more strong and make me try again and again...... well this cycle goes on and on. Let me tell you something about me, i am working as a staff nurse since march 2008 and ever since i have completed my nursing studies like any other nurse, i also dreamt to migrate and work in abroad
where i could earn some big money and could help my family financially and would like to buy a big house to live with high standard of living. Then in few years i thought why go abroad when i can achieve everything here only, if i get a well settled Govt. job here itself, since then i have been trying for a good settled Govt. job here in Delhi but ....... not everything in life is ready to eat 2 minute noodles....

well, sometimes even if we give our best we end up scoring more in the failure list. Then after this continous failure we reach a phase when we come along and meet some people who are much more established than we are and which inturn makes us more weaker... and then there are other people who criticize us more for not reaching anwhere... and then we come to a stage where we loose our hope.. Let me quote an illustration cum fact from one of the posters in our Hospital where i work now, it says :-
Man can live 40 days without food
about 3 days without water,
about 8 minutes without air,
but only for 1 second without hope.

Hard to digest but true... After a lot of failure, i realised that we may plan a lot of things in our life, but God only directs it to success. Well here, i am not saying that we should not dream or plan our future but let me make myself very clear here by Quoting a real example from the Life of Our Lord Jesus Christ, which i did hear in today`s Sunday Sermon :
Our Lord Jesus, when in the night he was going to be betrayed, in His fervent Prayer to Father God kneels down and Prays, Saying ; "Father, if it is your will, take this cup away from me; nevertheless not my will, but Yours, be done." ( Luke- 22: 42)
Here in this verse Lord Jesus is Praying to take away the suffering which is to come before Him but knowing the fact that Jesus had to go under this suffering, Lord Jesus prays not My will but Your will be done. Lord Jesus had kept His own wish before the Father but acknowedged and Surrendered Himself as a Son to the Father`s will, over His Will.

That is exactly what Father God and even Our Lord Jesus wants from us to do today. To say that Jesus I want to be like you is easy but following the example that Our Jesus showed is not quite easy as it is said. To leave our ambitions, goals, priorities, burdens, motives, aims .... and letting them down and wanting to do what God wants us do is something very Great.
Today when i write this article i want myself and all those who have met Lord Jesus in their life`s to know that Praising and worshiping God is always good but fulfilling His purpose is the real job we have to do and for doing this we have been sent here on this EARTH...
Recognize your talent and Glorify the name of Our Father in Heaven. For in Mathew 11: 29,30 Our Lord Jesus Says, to take the Yoke of God for Lord teaches us how to do that for His Yoke is easy and His burden is Light..

God Bless Us All ...And may He use us All in the years to come, to be His Best Vessel...

Amen.
